Mission

The mission of the Ventura Land Trust is to permanently protect the land, water, wildlife and scenic beauty of the Ventura region for current and future generations.

What We Do

Since 2003 the Ventura Land Trust has permanently protected 30 acres of open space in the Ventura River, and manage 60 acres more. The Land Trust is currently in negotiations to purchase prime hillside property with the goal of opening the first large-scale, publicly accessible nature preserve in Ventura.
