Project details

What we need
  • Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

Graphic design work ~10-15 hours to complete some key materials for capital campaign.
Design & revisions will include: one-sheets (3-4), direct mail inserts and possibly other materials
Note: This project is critical for our capital campaign efforts. Our organization would like to connect with a volunteer design professional and see if there could be the potential for a longer working relationship.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the materials, they need to be refined. You would work with senior members of our engagement & philanthropy staff who will provide clear direction and also trust you to use your expertise to get the job done.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus on outreach and investment into the River Center at Grant Park as well as other program needs such as San Diego River trash removal, water quality monitoring and invasive species removal.

The San Diego River Park Foundation is in the quiet phase of our River Center at Grant Park capital campaign. The center will allow us to scale our efforts to provide 25,000+ underserved students with incredible nature experiences that help instill a love of nature and the environment for years to come. We are looking for someone who can take our materials to the next level and help us show the potential of this inspiring project.

Our mission

The San Diego River Park Foundation is community-based grassroots non-profit organization which was founded in 2001.
The vision of the San Diego River Park is a greenbelt from the mountains to the ocean along the 52 mile long San Diego River. This greenbelt is really a trail system and a clean and healthy river system which connects a diversity of parks, open spaces, public places and community facilities spread out along the length of the River.
