What we'd like to talk about
I'd like strategic advice on a project to combine multiple sources of real-time data into a useful monitoring database & dashboard. Advice on scope definition, budgeting and pitfalls are welcome.
Additional context
We can currently manually download discrete data in various formats etc - we want this to become automated. Fancy analysis not required just automation, standardisation and display. Ideally display realtime data in a web page widget. We would like the ability to query the database for monthly figures etc - the key is to have it all in one place and eliminate human download/copy/paste operations. The possibility to configure an alarm if no realtime data is being received would be a plus. Current in house software is MS Office Suite. Happy to setup a web-page to do this work on. No budget for fancy software. Please help!

Over their operational lifetime, these projects will lower costs on behalf of our customers by nearly PS2 million and reduce carbon emissions by over 7,000 tonnes.
As a not-for-profit co-operative, BHESCo remain accountable to our customers long after the project installation, because all of our customers become members of our co-op and have a say in how we are run.
