What we need
- A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)

At this moment in human history, we urgently need to re-imagine our place on Earth, to live in harmony with Nature. Across Africa, we have trained up a small group of 'Earth Jurisprudence practitioners' who need a couple of simple yet alluring illustrations that show how they are united, how their 'collective' is growing, and the work they do. They are clear on the structure of the collective and why Earth Jurisprudence is so critical, but feeling challenged on how to explain it to others.
What we have in place
- We currently have a badly-drawn organigram of the 'collective', which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have plenty of visual & written materials on Earth Jurisprudence, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to amplify the voices of African Earth Jurisprudence practitioners, and attract funders for landscape restoration and knowledge revival through visuals that are uplifting and easy to understand.
The UN, in recent reports on Harmony with Nature, has praised a new generation of African advocates for Earth Jurisprudence - yet their work remains largely unseen. A clear illustration of the African Earth Jurisprudence Collective can help leverage more support for rural communities reviving their indigenous knowledge, inspire others to regenerate their bio-cultural food systems and landscapes, and contribute to Earth-centred thinking and practice for systemic change.

Our mission
We are a small organisation with 35 years experience accompanying partners, communities and movements in Africa, South America, Asia and Europe. Often credited as 'punching above our weight', our small team and global network works to revive bio-cultural diversity, to regenerate healthy ecosystems and to strengthen community self-governance for climate change resilience. We work all over the world and apply a holistic approach to addressing the root causes of our converging crises, triggered by the industrial growth society.
What we do
Accompany small-scale, family farmers to enhance their indigenous knowledge and seed varieties in order to safeguard diversity for generations to come and connect with the growing food sovereignty movement.
Encourage communities to reconnect with their ancestral lands and sacred natural sites and thereby to regain confidence in their customary laws and governance systems and connect with each other to defend their sacred lands.
Protect regenerative livelihoods, biodiversity and water systems from the impact of mining and related threats by building solidarity amongst local communities and social movements as they stand up to defend life.
