Training Plan Development
Project details
What we need
- Training goals for a specific population (volunteers, staff, program participants, etc.)
- Advice on what training methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (webinars, lectures, print materials, etc.)
- Suggestions for curriculum design, creative messaging, call to actions, methods and timeline
- Budget for implementation (taking the Organization’s resource constraints into consideration)
- A written document that summarizes objectives, strategies and actions steps
Additional details
We are in the last stretch of completing part 2 Certification, a self directed online course that includes a team of 4: final proofer/ copy editor, graphic designer, learning operations and communications. You will have the support of the current Project Manager who has seen the Orientation (part 1) to completion and the Certification to this stage.
What we have in place
- We currently have part 1 Orientation ready to launch next week, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have content done for part 2 Certification, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,000 , allowing us to launch new frontline initiatives and drive current ones forward with greater momentum.
Catalyzing a global movement means exponentially expanding the network of conversations for the possibility of rebalancing the human-Nature relationship. Graduates of the Certification Course become Ambassadors for ELC, joining an implementation community to design and complete projects which most inspire and engage them. Together we will have the most impact.
Project plan
Our mission
Earth Law Center catalyzes a global movement to rebalance the human-Nature relationship.
We do this by working to make ELC a household name, expanding the body of Earth Law, and providing tools for judges and lawyers to analyze in decisions affecting the natural environment.
What we do
Our continued well being depends on a paradigm shift in law from a human based one to a nature based one so ecological communities can regenerate and thrive.
This includes a wide range of activities from researching and writing part of an amendment being considered by the Oaxaca Parliament for rights of rivers, to Amicus Briefs (12+ submitted since 2018). This includes the first Earth Law textbook in the world, published by Wolters Kluwer as well as Earth Law frameworks for rivers, marine protected areas and communities.
Catchafire volunteers form a core part of ELC's volunteer leaders, and we've completed over 100+ projects. So thank you Catchafire!!!
