Project details
What we need
- An edited 1-3 minute audio file delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details
We are looking for audio editor(s) who can work in french to help us edit our interviews with indigenous women and youth from the global south who are leading on climate solutions. These interviews will be presented at the United Nations climate conference later this year! We have 10 interviews overall (one in french) that are approximately 40 minutes each. We hope to have a long, slightly edited version and short (2min) version of each. We have many past examples.
What we have in place
- We currently have past examples, raw files, and soon to have transcripts,, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have support staff to suggest highlights for interviews,, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to support more youth and under-represented voices in taking part in climate action and leadership.
This will help us to create an exhibit to highlight the climate leadership of women and youth to the highest of climate delegations this year at the climate negotiations. This year, many indigenous peoples will not be able attend due to COVID, which makes this exhibit even more important.

We are a creative, action-oriented community of arts, policy, science, communications, and business experts committed to creating and sharing innovative approaches to tackling social and environmental challenges.
What we do
The Human Impacts Institute was founded in 2011 and over the course of the past seven years, HII has provided over 1,200 hours of environmental educational programming across several core themes. The themes include stewardship-based initiatives such as Tree Care, environmental justice public resources such as the Impact Hours series, and climate communication programs such as the Creative Climate Awards, a competition bringing climate-inspired art to NYC audiences and beyond. HII's framework focuses on using arts and creativity as a tool for strengthening traditional environmental action methods. HII has developed environmental programs on a variety of topics for diverse audiences. Programs include youth environmental leadership intensives, community environmental workshops, local estuary and tree care stewardship opportunities for all ages, and more. These programs strive to integrate creative projects such as film and video, graphic design, tree guard building, and more.
We know there's a gap between knowing, understanding, and taking action. By building diverse communities and connecting you to solutions in beautiful and engaging ways, we inspire you to take action by making issues personal and practical to your life.
