Project details

What we need
  • An expert evaluation of the Organization’s website compared against usability best practices in order to assess an optimal user-friendly and intuitive layout.
  • Note: This project does not include feedback on website content - only usability
Additional details

We're looking to enhance the usability, design and visual appeal of our website. This audit as an important first step in guiding how we proceed. Stroudcenter.org is large & complex with 180 pages, 1,600 posts, and over 3,000 media files. We want to make it easier for visitors to find what they need and to improve the overall look and feel. Our primary audience is funders; other key stakeholders include: teachers, students, farmers, sustainability professionals, and scientists.

What we have in place
  • We have a dedicated and skilled web developer, Heather Brooks, who can help you obtain the depth and breadth of data needed to make informed decisions. We have a great deal of data available in our reports. Heather also manages the content and analytics, and is tremendous resource. I'm the new Director of Development and am eager to support this project in any way.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,665 , allowing us to invest it into our core programming: scientific research to preserve fresh water; education programs; and watershed restoration.

This project will provide valuable direction for us as we look to revamp our website. Ultimately, it will acheive the following: an enhanced user experience leading to more action taken - signing up for newsletters, donating, volunteering, participating as citizen scientists, and taking action to support the future of fresh water in communities around the world.
