What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We need someone to edit a fast paced, dynamic image video for our NGO. We have plenty of footage of direct actions such as banner hangings and petition handovers, which will be provided. This is quite urgent. The video should be about 2 minutes long.

The purpose of the video is to build interest and trust from people outside of the organisation, to either donate or join our cause.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all the footage needed and a clear idea of what we need, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have someone dedicated to have this video produced and examples, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to use the money to publish and advertise the video, instead of producing it and then having no money to advertise it.

this video is part of a big climate campaign that is targeted at one big corporation. with this video we want to build trust and interest of their employees, to haven an impact on the inside.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)
