When approaching potential partners, we often get questions about our organization and the services we provide, even though we've already attempted to address them all at the start. We need a third party to help us come up with a one-pager that will effectively and concisely introduce our organization and answer common questions.
What we have in place
- We currently have refreshed copy about what we do on our new website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have examples of past interactions and questions that arose, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to spend more time reaching the organizations and communities who could most benefit from our services.
This project would help lower the barrier to potential partners in reaching out to us. We offer our services free of charge and have always made a point to be clear on that. Still, some people are hesitant to accept our help because they think there is a catch. Others can use our help, but don't really understand how a flight could benefit their work.

Our mission
SouthWings protects and restores the ecosystems of the Southeastern US through flight. Founded in 1996, SouthWings volunteer pilots fly to uncover and mitigate environmental challenges related to climate change and watershed protection. We welcome a broad range of stakeholders to see firsthand the scope and scale of issues such as sea level rise, water pollution, community vulnerability, deforestation, and mountaintop removal coal mining. Our flights shape perspectives on the actions needed to stop and reverse these problems. We fly to hold polluters accountable and to promote environmental policy and planning, scientific research, public awareness and action, and ecosystem protection.
