What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

For our existing website climatefood.ch we would like to:

- repair the php programming behind the recipe filter as this is currently broken in all language versions
- get a new fresh look and feel of the overall climatefood site (wordpress) for all language versions thanks to your ideas and skills by using the existing content and adhering to our CI/CD

We would be thrilled to have you on board and help us out with your knowledge and skills!

What we have in place
  • We currently have an initial change document, tools and accounts needed, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated project team, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to actually do the project! We are a volunteer organisation and depend a lot on helping hands! Without this work, we will simply not be able to professionalize our site further. Thank you!

ClimateFood is one of our initiatives driven by volunteers who are passionate about climate and food. We organize events and workshops for more than 100 people and grow our recipe database. We would love to reach more people with our content and for this, we do need a professional web presence.

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
