Project Details

What We Need
  • Detailed comments and suggestions based on a thorough review of an existing fundraising plan (20 pages maximum)
  • Feedback on goals and help adjusting targets
Additional Details

We are seeking to diversify our funding sources as well as look at potentials to build our own revenue generation. Right now most of our funding comes from grants and individual donations. We'd like to set up an online store for merchandise, find more well-fitting funding sources, and see if we can earn contracts for our work to generate revenue.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a list of funding resources and detailed history, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have concepts on how we'd like to diversify, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $2,044 , allowing us to put that money into our direct support services for a cleaner, safer and stronger Hawaii.

We'd like to not be overly reliant on a few big grants and instead have a diversified reach of more steady revenue to support and grow our operations.

About The Org

808 Cleanups
Our Mission

808 Cleanups is a 501(c)3 environmental nonprofit organization committed to restoring Hawai`i's natural beauty by empowering volunteers to conduct decentralized cleanups from mauka to makai, responding to littering and vandalism of Hawai`i's natural spaces, saving Hawai`i's indigenous ecosystem through education, and building sustainable solutions with community partners.

What We Do

Stewardship projects from mauka to makai (mountain to ocean). Volunteer cleanups, graffiti removals and invasive plant removals from hiking trails to underwater and everywhere in-between. Working with community partners to help people find volunteer opportunities in their area and that work for their schedule. Supporting volunteers in their efforts through our Adopt a Site program. Supporting and connecting people with our 808 Cleanups App and social media. Providing supplies to active volunteers.
