Additional details

Sticker Design Contest - Hayduke Lives! Save the Yellowstone Grizzly created a new documentary call The Beast of Our Time. Our founder is Doug Peacock. Edward Abbey used Doug as a model for his character Hayduke in the Monkey Wrench Gang. We have permission to use the classic Hayduke graphic by R. Crumb. We would like a 4" sticker that creatively ties together Hayduke, grizzlies, Doug, and our new film The Beast of Our Time. Please include our web address. Be creative and have fun!

What we have in place
  • We currently have a Hayduke graphic, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have can provide logos or grizzly images, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to focus more on outreach for the film to a larger audience.

With the upcoming release of our film, we thought this would be a fun way to honor Doug and his life's work with grizzlies. And honor his life long friendship with Edward Abbey. The notoriety of Hayduke, you'll see Hayduke Lives! bumper stickers all over the west, will help us raise awareness of Doug's work and the plight of the grizzly bear. It will be a fun way to engage the public.

Our mission

Save the Yellowstone Grizzly's mission is to preclude the trophy hunting of grizzly bears, restore Yellowstone bears to ESA protections, and ensure connectivity with the Northern Continental Divde, Selkirk, Cabinet, and Yaak Valley grizzlies for long term genetic diversity. Thus, STYG will be fighting for the safety and welfare of all grizzlies south of Canada and the need for a Grizzly Bear Ecosystem Recovery Area.
