What we need
  • 3-5 one-on-one sessions with a coach to work on your individual methods of organizing your time and priorities
  • Recommendations on the best tools for your organizational needs

We are a very small nonprofit with huge demand and opportunity right now. I am an executive director who works another job to make ends meet and a mom with a 10-year-old handful. My different hats often collide and tasks get dropped in the juggling. I believe we have volunteers who could take on some of the load if I could get more organized/streamlined in my approach. More grants are available if I had time to get them all tackled. Grateful for someone who could help me feel less overwhelmed!

What we have in place
  • We currently have great project opportunities & willingness to learn, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have powerful project outcomes even with our part-time approach, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,968 , allowing us to create a better volunteer engagement system, apply for more grant funding, and pay some part-time staff to assist.

Our work is more important than ever as folks head to the mountains and overwhelm our trails & environment. More funding is out there and we have some great new project/partner opportunities. I just can't get it all done.

Prep: Initial Assessment
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss perceived areas of strength, areas of improvement, and assess current organizational systems
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager decide on specific areas to focus on along with schedule and goals for each coaching session

Milestone 1: Coaching Sessions
  • In-depth coaching sessions on topics like setting professional boundaries, prioritization, organizational skills & systems implementation
  • Ensure each session is followed by a trial period to apply the skills and report back at subsequent sessions on the outcomes, learnings and follow-up questions

Milestone 2: Wrap-up & Learnings
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional evaluate lessons learned and progress made throughout coaching sessions, and decide on tool(s) (if appropriate) to aid in future organizing needs
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss action steps and area(s) of focus going forward
