What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

The deliverable is a little different than what is outlined by default (e.g. 1-3 minute video) as we need assistance with editing multiple 3-4 minute clips together for a virtual event and concert.

What we have in place
  • We currently have musicians we are working with for videos of them performing, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an outline of our virtual event and a vision for the videos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to continue supporting communities on the frontlines of climate change by implementing clean energy microgrid projects

Climapalooza is our biggest fundraiser and event of the year. Since we are moving it to a virtual format this year, we are eager to transition the live music portion to an engaging and fun online segment that our community can still enjoy. This project will allow us to have seamless videos of our musicians performing and will make the flow of the event so much smoother and easier on our end! Thank you!

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format

Our mission

We are a woman-run nonprofit that works to make climate science and clean energy understandable and actionable for everyone!

What we do

We partner with grassroots orgs in environmental justice communities to design clean energy accessbility projects. This is mostly in the form of microgrids, but we have some others too! Right now we have active projects in Chelsea, MA, Cambridge, MA, and Boston's Chinatown in MA.
