What we'd like to talk about

We are looking to transition my job from being contracted to being an employee, and I am looking for advice on how to best structure the the job.

Additional context

To give more detail about the situation: currently I have two separate contracts (one with the price set annually and the other per class that I teach because the number of classes is variable) and also do work as a volunteer board chair. The other constraint is that we can only pay me for about 30 hours of work per week, given current minimum wage. I don't know how - or if - it is possible to incorporate all of this into one job. I would appreciate some advice on this. It is something we've been wanting to do for a couple years now, but given budgetary constraints, keep putting it off.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

The mission of Cascadia Wild is to connect people of all ages with the natural world, combining modern ecology with ancient practices of living with the earth. We do this by teaching naturalist skills, creating meaningful interactions with local natural areas, and providing stewardship opportunities for serving the wildlife, forests, and land of the Pacific Northwest.
