Project details

What we need
  • Overhaul of the organization and structure of the Organization's existing website, or UX design for a new website
  • Clear map of website’s structure (sitemap) with wireframes to accompany the layout; wireframes may include homepage, section pages, content detail pages, and form pages
  • Flowcharts or specifications for the interactive features of the website
  • A summary of the system components that will need to be styled for the site
  • Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers design templates, you may not need a UX design. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help designing a CMS-based website
Additional details

Greetings! We recently received our Letter of Determination and are working to build organizational capacity. We are few in number, staff-wise, but determined to grow. Our website could use some love; it's been holding the fort for 3+ years now. Thank you for your consideration! Dave

What we have in place
  • We currently have most of the answers you need ..., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a good number of visual assets, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,946 , allowing us to leverage our updated website to share our work with more visitors and solicit more individual donations.

We are likely a bit behind the curve on UX best practices. Currently, our staff of 5 is part-time and, now that we're officially a nonprofit, we'd like to grow and build our organizational capacity to increase our positive impact and obtain the budget to include FTEs. Thank you.

Our mission

We increase the nutrition security of Coloradans by harvesting and redistributing surplus, nutrient-dense foods while supporting the resilience of farmers.

What we do

We:

Increase nutritional security in Colorado by diverting locally grown, nutrient-dense surplus agriculture into the state's hunger-relief system.

Support Colorado's smallholder and family farms via a trained volunteer gleaning corps, outreach through educational content and social media, quantitative and qualitative research, legislative-advocacy work and via collaboratively structured pilot projects addressing agricultural issues such as on-farm labor shortages in Colorado.

Reinstall food wisdom in our Colorado communities by reconnecting Coloradans with where much of their food originates.
