Project details

What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We need help improving our website and making it faster- it's very slow on google web analytics

What we have in place
  • We have our website all set up, and we have the diagnostic report. Our comms manager is also available to work with you on anything you might need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to spend money on our other campaigns like shutting down coal-fired power plants, extending wilderness protections, or ensuring good water quality in our local river.

Our website is SO slow. We need to get it up and running again to update our supporters on action alerts and what issues we're working on, and right now it's so slow that it's driving traffic away.

Our mission

San Juan Citizens Alliance advocates for clean air, pure water, and healthy lands and wildlife - the foundations of resilient communities, ecosystems and economies in the San Juan Basin (southwest CO and northwest NM).

What we do

In 1986 a group of concerned citizens joined forces, launching the Alliance to protect their families and neighbors from the impacts of unchecked oil and gas development. Over the years, the organization grew to address a broad array of issues concerning the quality and protection of regional air, land, and water resources. The Alliance has over 900 dues-paying members and thousands of supporters who care passionately about preserving the unique qualities of this region. We are supported by eight staff members who add decades of technical and strategic expertise to the cause.

Testimonials

David was amazing!!! He took our (pretty vague) need of getting our website to run faster and went above and beyond. He communicated well and got our site to run much faster (plus did some extra work like improving the visuals and streamlining the look of the site). Would definitely recommend working with David!
