What we need
  • A new presentation, or update to an existing presentation in Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, or another presentation software
  • Best practices and tactics for structuring an effective presentation
Additional details

We are looking for a comedian (amateur or professional) to prepare one script for a 5-minute sketch and participate in two virtual clean boating presentations as a guest speaker. The materials should include the topic of sewage in some capacity. The purpose is to utilize comedic skills to connect the boating community audience on an emotional level.

What we have in place
  • We currently have past Clean Boating Presentations that could be referenced, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have saved comedy videos related to environmental topics we can provide if needed.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to use grant funding to further develop virtual outreach tools and keep providing boaters with free pollution prevention tools such as "Boater Kits".

Comedy makes knowledge easier to recall, and we hope by integrating it into our presentations, it will lead to increased environmental awareness and behavior change.
