(Short) Animation Creation

What we need
  • Up to 3 short animations to be used in further marketing content (short videos, gifs, website content, etc)
  • Guidelines on how to use the animations in accordance with other content
Additional details

We need help developing a script for an animated watershed education video. Audience for the video are students of our K12 education program. Guidance for the length of the film for different grade ranges is needed, as well as integration of analogies and humor to engage young stewards.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Illustrations of wildlife characters, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have An idea of the key message and purpose, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to Focus on making impact and lesson plan development.

This project is essential for the development of this watershed education program which we hope will engage and inspire stewards for the generations to come.

  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where animations will be posted, ideas for content, and images to include in the animation (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the animation, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of animations they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts animations using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Animation Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of animation
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Animation Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the animations and explains how to include the animations on the organization’s chosen platform(s)

Ocean Blue Project is a grassroots environmental charitable organization with a Mission to protect the health of humans, our One World Ocean, beaches, and rivers through collaborative community driven plastic pollution relief, service learning projects, scientific research, and youth education.

What we do

Ocean Blue Project is an authentic grassroots nonprofit on a mission to clean the ocean. Our goal is to rehabilitate and conserve the world's waterways, which will allow for healthier human and wildlife communities. We dive into plastic recovery projects that protect people from cancers and disease and engage communities in pollution relief, river restoration, and youth education programs that encourage intentional stewardship of the earth and wildlife.
