What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

Update visual elements of the website with our brand refresh
Ensure an organized, appealing and user-friendly visual layout with fixed styles for consistency
Adapt WordPress template where required to increase functionality, site performance, or improve visual elements
Update website's functionality for staff to perform maintenance and content management
Deliver webinar for a staff demonstration and create user guidelines
Content management, troubleshooting and bug-fixing for a 3 month period

What we have in place
  • We currently have an organizational website created in WordPress, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have visual elements from a current brand refresh project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to apply our budget to projects and work to better serve our mission.

In conjunction with a brand refresh project, our aim is to further enhance our website and ensure the best user experience through improved layout and content management, laying of the new brand assets into the WordPress template, and adapting the template where needed to improve the functionality, web performance and visual appeal.

Prep: Share Scope of Changes
  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
