Project details

What we need
  • Specific copy from one document (up to 1000 words) translated from one language to one other of the Organization's choice
  • Note: If you need more than 1000 words translated or copy translated into more than one language, please post additional versions of this project
Additional details

Translate 1-4 page worksheets for youth into Spanish.

What we have in place
  • We currently have copy in English ready for translation, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have guidelines for the age range for the young readers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,973 , allowing us to reach more students and families as they complete their school work and enrichment activities from home.

Translating our youth worksheets into Spanish will support youth learning at home during school closures due to COVID-19 to still engage with their families in learning about and protecting their local environment.

Our mission

The mission of the Coastal Watershed Council is to protect and preserve coastal watersheds through community stewardship, education and monitoring.

What we do

The San Lorenzo River runs right through downtown Santa Cruz, but the community isn't really drawn to this river. CWC is improving water quality and habitat and hosting family and youth-friendly events to improve public safety and environmental conditions, transforming this park into a cultural and natural asset that Santa Cruz is drawn to and proud of.

Testimonials

(No testimonial has been submitted by Mollie)
Working with the Coastal Watershed Council was a joy because they were responsive, informative, and supportive during the process. We worked together to create a solution that worked for both of us and did not compromise quality. I recommend volunteer for CWC.
