Additional details
We are a nonprofit youth development organization looking to increase our presences in schools and communities across the bay area. As a new Outreach and Community Engagement Manager, I am learning on the go and looking for ways to increase our exposure in a variety of places. We do have some target constituents - happy to talk more with our confirmed volunteer!
What we have in place
- We currently have a outreach manager with clear goals and directives, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a growing database of schools and community partners, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to serve more youth and have the high impact that we want to make on girls in young people in our community.
We are a small team of 5 working to make a big impact in our community - serving girls, trans, and gender non-conforming youth in the bay area. While we want to reach as many families as possible, the reality is that we have limited resources and need to be creative and strategic with our approach to recruitment and the marketing of our programs.

Our mission
GirlVentures inspires girls to lead through outdoor adventure, inner discovery, and collective action.
We envision a world where girls and women lead inclusive, resilient communities, and where nature is accessible to everyone and conserved for future generations. Our organization is built on shared values of inclusion, integrity, empathy, creativity, and community.
Testimonials
Elizabeth is super helpful always offering ideas and strategies that I would never think of. She is a pleasure to work with and to learn from. She always followed up promptly with action items and was super flexible with the ways in which she offered support to us to meet the shifting project needs and priorities during the COVID19 pandemic.
