What we need
- Up to 3 customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
Additional details
We're an environmental nonprofit who hosts a dazzling fundraising event right next to the river we're working to clean up, bring people to connect with, explore and protect. The event is called Meander and the goal is to bring 200 thought leaders and influencers together to raise money and build support for the larger cause. It's a $200 per guest event and it lets us hold events for the entire community for free, all year long. We need a digital invitation & imagery to go on our invite page.
What we have in place
- We currently have collateral from 3 past events like this, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have great photos, if that's of interest, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to pay our staff better, cover more of their health care costs, buy more native plants to improve the river ecosystem, reach more kids who live in poor neighborhoods right next to the river and more.
This project helps us brand this Meander event as a unique offering in our community. The invitation and event page branding will help sell folks on the type of classy gathering we're offering. Our goals include building support from the who's who in Santa Cruz, along with raising money. That all starts with the look and feel of the event. We'll print a physical menu, but first we need digital imagery for the save the date, Facebook page, Eventbrite page, etc.
Project plan
Our mission
The mission of the Coastal Watershed Council is to protect and preserve coastal watersheds through community stewardship, education and monitoring.
What we do
The San Lorenzo River runs right through downtown Santa Cruz, but the community isn't really drawn to this river. CWC is improving water quality and habitat and hosting family and youth-friendly events to improve public safety and environmental conditions, transforming this park into a cultural and natural asset that Santa Cruz is drawn to and proud of.
