Event Planning Strategy Sessions

Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with an events professional covering topics like concept, general structure, logistics, and target attendees.
  • A written summary of topics discussed, including event concept and theme, general plan, estimated budget, and articulated goals (feel free to use this template as a starting point).
  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event.
Additional details

S&TC campaigns to restore wild salmonid populations in the UK, as well as the ecosystems they rely on. We call for action on open cage salmon farming, agricultural practices and industrial pollution. We are seeking help with planning logistics and budgets for a series of "town-halls" for each of our campaigning verticals. We plan to hold a total of 12 townhall meetings across the UK, to present, discuss and engage directly on the Agriculture, Salmon Farming and Biodiversity Monitoring.

What we have in place
  • We have dedicated resource to assist and input with planning, highlight locations and establish invitees.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to spend our time campaigning hard on the issues we are expert on, rather than many hours planning.

This will provide a well defined programme of events for 2020, freeing up time to concentrate on producing great content for the events. The events themselves will deliver face to face engagement and encourage activism in local communities.

Our mission

WildFish is the UK's only independent charity campaigning for wild fish and the ecosystems on which they rely. Wild salmon and trout are natural indicators of a happy and healthy water environment. We are a campaign based, science-lead, lobbying organisation. We do this without the use of taxpayer's money, so we are not compromised in challenging Governments. All our work is a direct product of the passion and support of those of follow us, which enables us to be your voice and to stand up openly for wild fish and water with no strings attached.
