What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details

He have worked with a designed to devise a visual representation for our interdisciplinary and experiential program. We are looking for an illustrator to help us bring the project home with their artistic vision and skills! We hope to walk a way with a beautiful and communicative visual representation of our curriculum/program.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a well conceptualized design, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a designer who can offer additional guidance/direction, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,486 , allowing us to direct every penny we raise to more rapidly launching the program and ensuring accessibility to as broad of a range of students as possible.

A visual representation of our complicated but life-changing curriculum/program will be crucial to communicating the power of our program to funder, potential partner organizations, and prospective program participants.

  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional existing branding or marketing materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with relevant background information on the Organization, mission, and core values

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, target audience, and how the illustration will be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align expectations for the initial drawings and agree upon a timeline

Milestone 2: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional drafts and presents three concepts for the Organization’s illustration
  • Volunteer Manager chooses a favorite concept and provides up to two rounds of feedback, which the Professional uses to refine the Illustration

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers a final version of the Illustration in digital form

Our mission

The Field Semester is a sustainability focused high-school semester program. Each semester, TFS will offer up to 45 highly-motivated high-school juniors and seniors the opportunity to live, work, and learn together on the land. Rigorous interdisciplinary academics, daily chores, and hands-on projects will offer students a life changing experience far beyond what is available within the walls of a traditional classroom.
