Project details

What we need
  • Initial assessment of areas of strength, targets for improvement and specific areas of focus desired for the coaching sessions
  • Up to 6 coaching sessions exploring areas such as motivation, empowerment, collaboration, communication, giving / receiving feedback & conflict management
  • Wrap-up session with actionable steps and advice moving forward as a manager

Additional details

I am kind of in-between management and contributor roles at the moment. It is a slow transition into more and more management functions. My supervisor gives me lots of freedom in this process which is good and bad at the same time.

Right now, I am trying to figure a suitable management style for my personality. Additionally, I would like some feedback on my inherent management weaknesses and how to overcome them.

How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to continue to grow and plan new projects in times where the economic conditions for nature protection NGOs in Europe are not ideal.

Improving my management skills will help our growing NGO in successfully completing the EU-LIFE Project "Insect-Responsible Sourcing Regions" and provide valuable perspective for the development of our team and applications for future projects.

Milestone 1: Coaching Sessions
  • In-depth coaching sessions on topics like motivation, empowerment, collaboration, communication, giving / receiving feedback & conflict management
  • Ensure each session is followed by a trial period to apply the skills and report back at subsequent sessions on the outcomes, learnings and follow-up questions
